Baptisms at Neilson Park
On September 11th our spiritual family celebrated three baptisms at Neilson Park.

Baptism is an opportunity for someone to publicly declare their faith in Jesus and commit to follow Him with the entirety of their lives. As a spiritual family, we are committing to walk, guide and be a family to those we are taking this step.
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward trust in and love for Jesus. A believer is put under the water, which symbolizes dying to an old way of life. They are then brought up out of the water, symbolizing them resurrecting to a new way of life — lived for Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is a significant moment to “bury” their old life, old habits, old ways and begin to walk in a new life. In other words, baptism is a visible representation that a person is identifying with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus (Romans 6:3-5).
Congratulation to those who got baptized!
